KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian girls’ badminton team, led by reigning world junior champion Goh Jin Wei, have made the semi-finals in the 7th Asean Schools Games in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.
Jin Wei and her team-mates lost 3-2 to Singapore in their second and final Group A match on Tuesday, but still made it the last four as the second best team.
They had earlier beaten Brunei 5-0 on Monday in another group match.
Malaysia will face Group B champions Indonesia for a place in the final.
